The ART vision for its involvement in Cameroon
Our vision for Cameroon is to support the Government of Cameroon in its desire to enhance the transport infrastructure across the country by, inter alia, the restoration and upgrading of existing secondary and tertiary (un) paved roads. We are also keen to work with the Government of Cameroon in the construction of new roads for current and future generations.
Feasibility Study
In relation to ART’s interest in the Republic of Cameroon, this originated when feasibility study was undertaken in 2016, following which ART decided to collaborate with a local organisation to explore and develop potential opportunities with the Cameroonian Government.

Our Outlook for Cameroon
We see plenty of opportunities in Cameroon for the coming years ahead, with support from the Ministry of Public Works to make an innovative contribution to infrastructure projects. This applies to both the restoration of existing roads or involvement in the development and construction of new roads. However, in the shorter term and after significant research, we believe that development and restoration of secondary and tertiary roads are a key component in opening up areas that are economically important for exports and the associated government revenues.
Certain roads that become temporarily impassable during the rainy seasons, with the concomitant reduction in economic activity, can be made more resilient with the application of our products. This can mean that they remain open for longer, increasing economic activity and the returns to the Government of Cameroon. Such improvements would facilitate trade and transport with neighbouring countries via the port of Douala.
